Somehow even the stroady parts of this city are decently nice. Think the old trees help, and maybe the abundance of below-ground parking. The last pair of pictures are especially wild to me: this is the shitty highway-adjacent side of the mall, and yet it still manages to have that overhanging greenery. Granted it's a very cherrypicked POV, and it might be the last nice bit of the road, I'm not sure.
